Gossip Girl on politics…
(I’m not favoring any side, just something I found…)

The whole happy gang makes their way to Yale for an admissions field trip. 

For most, at least for Blair, the “Holy Trinity” of colleges is sacred for these upper East side kids.  The Holy Trinity consists of Ivy League schools Harvard, Yale and Princeton.  The true identity of college students come out with being so aggressive on picking a definite college to go to.  I have to admit, I feel the hostility of Blair because if I have my mind set on something, I’m going to get it.  If there is something in the way of my dream, I will find a way to get through it without being hurt.  I guess that is just the type of person I am with being so “terriitorial” about everything.  It’s weird how everything on Gossip Girl seems so similar to the current events in my own life. 

To make a long story short, I went to a community college and then transferred to Creighton University to get my Bachelors in Arts.  There wasn’t a real challenge in getting in to Creighton, though once settling my life as a newly made college student, the experience started to make its way.  Through my student life as an RA, executive officer and best friend, its been a roller coaster of events.

Things I’ve done since Creighton college life:
Made new friends
Became an RA
Was an Executive Officer for Hui O Hawaii Club
Learned all about my journalism career
Written for our school newspaper
Had problems with my best friend…

This is all very true of many college students and the same true story for the upper East side gang.  But as Blair Waldorf said, “Life’s too short; you make it so long”

On the upper hand, fashion changes everyday.  College fashion is something different everywhere you go.  In this weeks episode of, “New Haven Can Wait” collared EVERYTHING was appropriate.  The collared get up went well with a tie either female or male.  It looked sassy yet professional.

 I think that Serena made it worse to be friends and to think she is just doing this to piss off Blair.  I read this blog and figured that through a re-cap, there are a lot of dramas.  I don’t think people live this type of reality in actual life.  It’s so unrealistic.  Then again, real life struggles come like this in pairs and I’m sure girls or guys go through similar situations like these.  Thank God I only have school to deal with and not so much “college drama”.  It’s a challenge on who’s better than the other.  If you ask me, I’m going to have to decline the invitation for “drama only” club.  Maybe next time…
